A great innovation has started at the torquay tennis centre in the shape of a 35 and over singles ladder.
initiated by tony medlock the ladder already has around 16 participants.

At the moment Annie Ley is the only female taking part, so come on girls get your act together.

The matches can be played anytime but there is a once monthly get together at the club on the first Wednesday of each month.

The three middle "clay" courts will be available on this evening.
The way the ladder works is that anyone can challenge a player no more than 5 places above, if succesful they exchange places on the ladder.at the time of writing, kevin shenton is the top of the ladder.
